Complaints and Appeals
Qubahan Education Journal (QEJ) provides authors, reviewers, readers, and other stakeholders with a transparent procedure for submitting complaints and editorial appeals.
Authors may appeal an editorial decision when they believe that a significant scholarly, factual, ethical, or procedural error materially affected the decision.
An appeal should:
• Identify the manuscript
• Clearly explain the grounds for appeal
• Address the relevant scholarly or procedural issue
• Provide supporting evidence where applicable
Where appropriate, the appeal should be evaluated by a senior academic editor who was not directly responsible for the disputed decision.
Complaints may concern:
• Editorial procedures
• Peer-review conduct
• Publication ethics
• Conflicts of interest
• Unreasonable delays
• Journal conduct
• Published content
Complaints are handled objectively, proportionately, and confidentially.
Submitting an appeal does not guarantee reversal of an editorial decision.
