Peer Review Process
Qubahan Education Journal (QEJ) operates a double-anonymous peer-review process.
Under this model, author identities are concealed from reviewers and reviewer identities are concealed from authors as far as reasonably possible.
Eligible manuscripts are normally evaluated by at least two independent external reviewers with relevant expertise.
Reviewers assess:
• Originality
• Scholarly significance
• Relevance to the journal's scope
• Theoretical or conceptual foundation
• Methodological rigor
• Quality of evidence and analysis
• Interpretation of findings
• Ethical compliance
• Engagement with relevant literature
• Educational or scholarly contribution
• Strengths and limitations
• Overall academic presentation
Possible decisions are:
• Accept
• Minor revision
• Major revision
• Reject
Reviewer recommendations are advisory.
The final decision remains with the responsible academic editor.
Where reviewer reports are substantially contradictory or insufficient, additional independent review may be requested.
Peer review is confidential and independent of Article Processing Charges.
