Publishing Process
Qubahan Education Journal (QEJ) follows a structured, transparent, and academically independent publishing process.
1. Submission
Authors submit the manuscript and required declarations through the online submission system.
2. Technical screening
The Editorial Office checks completeness, metadata, formatting, declarations, and compliance with submission requirements.
3. Editorial screening
A qualified editor assesses scope, originality, scholarly contribution, methodological quality, ethical compliance, and research integrity.
4. Integrity screening
Manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism, duplicate publication, inappropriate authorship, citation manipulation, unethical research, and other integrity concerns.
5. Editor assignment
Suitable manuscripts are assigned to an academic editor with relevant expertise.
6. Double-anonymous peer review
Eligible manuscripts are normally evaluated by at least two independent external reviewers.
7. Editorial decision
Possible decisions are Accept, Minor revision, Major revision, or Reject.
Reviewer recommendations are advisory. Final decisions are made by qualified academic editors.
8. Revision
Authors invited to revise must submit a revised manuscript and a detailed point-by-point response.
9. Final acceptance
Acceptance is issued only after scholarly, ethical, peer-review, and editorial requirements have been satisfactorily completed.
10. Production
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, formatting, metadata verification, proofreading, and final production.
11. Publication
The approved article is published within the appropriate scheduled issue and becomes part of the permanent scholarly record.
Financial considerations and Article Processing Charges do not influence editorial decisions.
